Alter Portraits
Questions
The one altered portrait that was the hardest to create was a collage. As you can see i didn't know how to do it or maybe as well i need to learn how to us the materials better because it didnt come out the way i wanted it , its a disaster . Know the one altered portrait that was easy to do was the sepia because all you had todo was turn it black and white and then but the brown in.
Out of the 6 portraits i did i well most likely create the cyanotype because it took me a while to figure out how to get it the way i wanted and the color as well. It is important for me to learn how to alter portraits because you have new techniques and you can impress in the people that take a look at you work.
I think that portraits should and shouldn't be altered because sometimes its just good to have the original photo. But at times its good to add on it, its all how the photographer likes its work and that he/she is good at it . By altering an portrait it allows you create something new to the portrait it makes sometimes add life into it your creating more art then it already has.

1. What is blur motion? (In your own words, not what I gave you above) Explain.
Blur motion is an image that you capture while they are in the process of doing something in your camera you have to set the shutter release slower.
2. How did you create your blur images with the camera? Explain.
The way i created my blur motion images with the camera was that my group mates helped me set the settings for blur and then i would them to run, role, and jump what ever came into mind.
3. What did you do to the image in photoshop? Explain.
What i did to the image in photoshop was that added brightness to the ones that where kinda dark and thrones that had brightness i mad them black and white or just missed the filter.
4. What was difficult about shooting this image? Explain.
What was diffulct about shooting this pictures was that sometimes they didn't come out right not enough blur and also our setting well be the problem most of the time.
5. What was easy about shooting this image or editing it? Explain.
What was easy about this is that we got to have fun while shooting, show some talent and the editing was pretty easy to you just had to make the photo seem better then the original.

In this image my brother is holding up a pineapple. This image uses force perspective because it makes it look like my brother is actually carrying the pineapple. I created this image by having my brother stand further and I held the pineapple.The hardest part was having to hold the pineapple.

In this image my sister looks like she is a giant. This image uses force perspective because it makes it look like my sister is as tall as the house. I created this image by having my sister stand still with her leg in that position and I took the picture from a worms eye view. The hardest part was focusing the camera to capture the image correctly.

I created this image by having my sister stand further away from the cup and I placed the cup in front of the camera. The hardest part was focusing the camera to capture the image correctly.
In this image my sisters giant foot is going to step on my brother. This image uses force perspective because it makes it look like my sisters foot is giant and that shes going to step on my brother. I created this image by having my sister stand with her foot in front of the camera while my brother stood in the back. The hardest part was placing my brother correctly.

This image uses force perspective because it makes it look like my sister holding my tiny brother and tiny Patrick. I created this image by having my sister stand still with her hands out while my brother and Patrick stood further back. The hardest part was trying to line up my brother and Patrick on my sisters hands.

I created this image by having my sister stand with her foot in front of the camera while my brother stood in the back. The hardest part was keeping my sister steady and for her not to move.

I created this image by having my sister stand with her foot in front of the camera while my brother stood in the back. The hardest part was placing my brother correctly.
My image is about my brother caring his glasses but they are to heavy so thats why he is going side ways. This image uses forced perspective because we are making it seem like the glasses are bigger then him or even the same size. The way i created this image was by placing my brother in the back and holding the glasses close to the camera. what was hard about creating this image is that i had to place my brother in place and i also had to place the glasses in the correct spot.
What my image is about here is that my sister is wearing a type of skirt and she is dancing. This image uses forced perspective because the flower isn't actually bigger then my sister . The way i created this image was by putting my sister in the back and the flower almost infant of the camera. The hard part about creating this image was trying to get the flower in an angel that would look good.
This image is about my brother about to eat to a skellington, i am using force perspective because i am tricking the camera as if something that "big" is going to go inside of him. The way i created this image was by placing my brother in the back and i a couple of steps back withe skellington. What was hard about creating this picture was to get a right size for the skellington so that can look like the way it looks in the picture.
This image is about my brother in a water bottle like if was a pool and his relaxing at the edge of it. I am using force perspective because it look like of he is coming out of the water bottle. The way i created this image was by placing a water bottle in the table and getting my brother to "fit" in it. What was hard about creating this image was that i couldn't hold the water bottle still so then i had to put it on a table.

1. What did you pick to do your project on? Explain why you chose it. What i picked to do in my project was still life and face painting photography. The reason i picked this was because thought it was going to be easy.
2. What did you do to get the image? Explain. What i did to get all of my images was i needed a soiled color for my still-life and and for my model also the good lighting witch i struggle in getting because i had to get the flash light of the phone to get some where the light that i needed.
3. What editing did you have to do to your images? Explain why they needed that kind of editing. The editing that i did to my pictures was either i brought up the lighting or either lowered it or at least try to make it look better i also turned some of them black and white because i thought they all look better like that.
4. What did you learn about this kind of photography by shooting it? Explain. What i learned about this photography by shooting it is that its not east to paint someone also to make sure to get the right paint and for the still life well to but different bulbs so that i can get the right lighting.
5. Was there anything you found difficult about creating these images? Explain why. The part where i found it the most difficult was when i got paint in my models eyes and i was freaking out because i didn't know what to do, also i didnt know how to make him pose. Also coming up with the still life.
6. How do you think they came out overall? Could they be better? Why? Explain it. I think they didnt come out to bad but after all i think i could have done better.
7. What are you thinking about doing for your next independent project? Explain your idea.

1. What did you pick to do your project on? Explain why you chose it. I picked to do the hands photography because it seemed simple and easy to do in a short time.
2. What did you do to get the image? Explain. What i had do to get my images was that i needed to focus it in the main subject which where the hands.
3. What editing did you have to do to your images? Explain why they needed that kind of editing. What i did to edit my pictures was that i needed to fix the brightness and the contrast and turn some of them into black and white.
4. What did you learn about this kind of photography by shooting it? Explain. I learned that sometimes it can be hard to focus it in the subject.
5. Was there anything you found difficult about creating these images? Explain why. I don't think i found anything difficult about creating this images because it was something i already knew how to do.
6. How do you think they came out overall? Could they be better? Why? Explain it. They did not come out that bad but i feel that i could've done better, maybe do it in time and have more ideas for it.
7. What are you thinking about doing for your next independent project? Explain your idea. What i am planning to do for my next independent project is portraits because they are kinda some why easy to do but not.

The kind of project this is, is the alter portraits. Its when you take a picture of only one person. The reason i chose this kind of photography is because well first of all the teacher made it our first project, so we didn't have another opposition. I think the images on the left where successful because i liked the way i caught the person or the position they are in. I can say that the lighting also counts when it comes to it, also the editing. Know the images in the right are not successful because the editing is crap and the lighting on some take over and maybe also how my model was facing. The i way i would shoot this project again so that it can be successful is that i would try to position the model in a better way and find a lighting where it doesn't take over and maybe also try other angels. What this project made understand is that it aint that easy to take a picture of a person its actually harder than other most photography well thats just my opinion.

The kind of project this is, is blur motion. The reason i chose this style of phototgraphy is because the teacher wanted us to know something new in the camera and for us to get to try it. I feel that the pictures on the left were successful because i fell that i did a good job in taking them, know in the right i done feel like i didnt do a good job because its something that i didnt want. The way i would shoot this images today so that i make sure images are successful is the i well have more ideas in mind, that way the picture looks like the person was having fun. What this project helped me learn abhor photography is that it ain't that easy to set up the camera for the blur motion.

The kind of project this is, is the force perspective. Where objects look smaller or bigger than have to be. The reason I chose this project is because once agin the teacher wanted us to try something new and learn about it. I think the images on the left where successfulis because i felt that even though i was in a rush of taking this pictures they came out good. Know the once in the right are not successful because of my editing skills, my skills are trash. The way i would shoot this project to make it better is that i well do it in time so hat way i have more ideas and more people involved. What i learned from this project is that its hard to find the right angel to take the shot but you just have to adjust yourself

The kind of photography this is, is still life. Still life is where you gather random objets or objects with the same color and have a plain background an you take a picture of it. The reason i chose this kind of project is because the teacher made us do it for a grade, and for us children to learn something else. I think the images in the left are successful because they look pretty they have a good angel and cool stuff inside the photo it catches your eye in a way. Know the photos on the right I don't feel like i did good but i also feel that It turned out great some of them had to do with the angel i took the picture, how i placed the objects. The way i would shoot this project again to make it look successful is that i would add more stuff into the photo and find the right angel also try to us another color of background. What i learned about this project is that if you have imagination you can get a good shot.

The kind of photography this is, is still. Still life is when you take a picture of objects with a one single color or it can either be 2. The reason i chose this kind of photography is because i thought it would be easy for my first independent project. The pictures on the left are successful because I like how i but the objects together and maybe also how i edit them. Know on the right side are not successful because i did not like how i put everything together. The way i would shoot this images again and be successful is by thinking out of the box and ad more objects that can go together. What i learned about this project is that you can take good pictures if you focus and think straight.

The kind of project this is, is Micro. Micro photography is a picture where you can in see in more detail the objects. The reason i choose this kind of project is because we did this last year and i thought it was the easiest thing in the whole word. The pictures in the left are successful because of the way i made the camera focus and the kind of angel i used to make it look a little better. The pictures in the right are not successful because i did not but enough thought into the idea i did it in a rush. If i tried doing this again i well do it in time and get more creative objects in the picture so that way the photos can be more successful. What i learned about this project is that you have to learn how to focus the camera so that you can get what you want

The kind of photography is architecture, What this is, is that you take pictures of buildings from a angel. The reason i chose this project is because we did the exact same one last year and it was easy so i decided to do it this year as well for my independent project. The pictures on the left are successful is because i like how the quality looks on it and how i used part of reflection on the mirrors . Know the once on the right ain't that bad but i feel that i could've find a angel to make them look different and better in a certain way..If i shot this project again i think i would not change anything because i think i did just fine in this one. One thing that i learned is that buildings can be beautiful to take a picture of and easier to shoot.

The kind of photography this i, is pet portrait in a way is like taking a picture of a human but instead you are taking a picture of your pet. The reason i chose this kind of photography is because i barley got my pet and i thought it was a good idea to take his pictures. Know to answer question 3 and 4 i dont think there is a bad one i like how they all came out. but maybe i can do better by making the background look nicer. What i learned about this project is that it aint that easy to keep your dog a position, got to take his picture fast

The kind of project this is , is hard working hands. This is when you take a picture of hands doing something. The reason i chose this kind of photography because we also learned this last year and i liked it because you are getting the hand in action. The pictures in the left are successful because in a way you can actually see what is going on and what the hand was doing in the moment. Know in the right they are not that successful because you can can't really see the story that the hand is doing. The way i would shoot this project so that for sure it well come out successful is by maybe having more hands and doing out door stuff so that it can look cool. The kind of photography this is, is portrait. What that is, is that you take a picture of a person and it can't be more than one person. The reason i chose this project is because we did it at the begging of the school year and i figured i needed more practice in taking pictures of people. The images in the left are in some way successful i did not do that bad and got some good shots. I actually got the model how i wanted and i ain't very good at that but this time i did a good job i can say. Know for the ones in the right i don't think there are as bad either for my crapy skills that i got for taking shots like this i did not do that bad.
